I'm basically existentialist. I believe a) that there is no meaning or purpose or guiding hand behind life. No one's pulling the strings, and we do not exist for any kind of "reason." But I also believe b) that we don't need that for our lives to have meaning -- in fact, we're a lot freer and more powerful than that.
The meaning of life is the meaning you give it -- and whether you do that by choosing and accepting a religion or simply adopting your own creed and moral system, ultimately YOU choose. You can't look to outside sources to make your life rich, meaningful, and fulfilled. You have to do it yourself.
I'd have to say I generally agree with that.
So the world is filled with tubular entities. Food goes in one end and shit comes out the other. Sperm goes in and babies come out. It's all we've got. That and love.
