So I cleaned a bit more and boxed up a few things. The upcoming tournament at the store for Madden sucks. Shane bought me ice cream yay! and green tea! yay!
The move upcoming is exciting and daunting. I expect to have enough room to have furmeets myself even once we've got in there, but the money, oh the money up front is a lot for even us.
We'll see.

"Up front" money is what keeps jtlion and I stuck here paying more rent than we should for this much (or little) space. It's a pity we must pass up better (and even cheaper) places because we can't save up the moving costs. John keeps getting slam-dunked when he tries to save up money (most recently having to get his brakes fixed on his KIA). I just don't make enough to save up much and keep any kind of a "lifestyle" (other than just sitting and watching reruns on tv).

It's just frustrating.

At least you are moving towards a dream, a better place, you know? It's far too often that people stagnate in life and fail to sacrifice now in order to find new joys later. Cheers for a good Monday. ^^

I dunno if this is really a step up per se. I still don't have the balcony I was hoping to have to sit on. Will have the washer/dryer though once i can afford it since the place has hookups for it downstairs, though.

They still make Madden games? Wow, those were like groundbreaking back in the Mortal Kombat days. Now they seem to also have a longer run than the Hardy Boys.

They will always make football and sports games. And they will always sell better than the smartest action or puzzle game. I am a geek. Manly geek. ;x)
