"Two tracks in the snow, two tracks up that hill..."

I've had a great time recently.
On Wednesday the 12th I went down to South St. in Philly with Shane and shopped around. We found this great store called Quakerhead Collectibles. Full of all the old and current toys I love. Ended up buying Brainiac 13 from Superman and D of Vampire Hunter D. Keep buying all theses figures. I'm going to have to figure out where to put them all, or sell them someday maybe.
Also hit the comic store there, and then took a drive over to the gay bookstore in the Gayborhood.
I wanted to get this one book there, but didn't. Good excuse to go out with Shane again. I really like spending time with him, out and about. You really couldn't find a better boyfriend. Really. I feel sorry for anyone who didn't get him. Bunch of morons.
We've been discussing moving, or staying in our current apartment. I'd like a balcony, it's been a fantasy, abeit a dull one, of mine for a long time. It's so comforting to know I don't have to be running around trying to love this person or that person. I'm really finally fucking lucky, and I want it to stay this way. I hear about all the guys who can't find someone special, and am just glad I don't need to be one of them anymore. In no way.
I'm freer than ever before because I have the right things in my life. Ambition for myself, in the form of maybe making my own company/store. Someone to be with and share with. A job... Something tremendously important for those who don't know.
Do I not have most of the things to be considered successful?
I do. I most definitely do.

I was driving along today and I passed by this spanish style ranch house.
And I just got this feeling.
I saw myself and shane standing at the end of the driveway looking at it.
We'd just bought it.
We had a home together.
My eyes teared up a bit and I had to smile.
What a beautiful future.
