Blasting from my past.
Sep. 21st, 2003 11:32 pmWow, tonight I was digging in my parent's basement and found a box marked ART in my handwriting. It was full of all my old drawings and stuff and writings. I forgot how much I used to draw. Even found a print from someone named James Pearson who .... I just don't remember. Fleeting on the edge of my memory.
All this great old stuff I did. I gathered up some of it for reference to my old styles. Some was pretty good, and some was definitely on the other end of that spectrum.
I can't beleive some of what I did. I've been so lost in myself for years. I just... Forgot what I do.
I even found one of my favorite quotes ever.
"No one - not even the most brilliant scientist alive today - really knows where scienc is taking us. We are aboard a train which is gathering speed, racing down a track on which there are an unknown number of switches leading to unknown destinations. No single scientist is in the engine cab and there may be demons at the switch. Most of society is in the caboose looking backwards." -Ralph Lapp, scientist-turned-writer
I'll dedicate that quote-at-the-end thing to my cousin, AkenAmenti.
Love ya guys.
